About Me

My photo
Patty Meglio
Northford, Connecticut, United States
As an artist, I paint in oil in modern impressionist style. I am a plein air painter, but I also do still life and figurative work. I teach oil painting and drawing at the Guilford Art Center in CT. I am also a fiction and non fiction writer. I have a novel called, "Anna's Choice." Anna’s Choice is a feminist tale of ambition and passion–and what it means to pursue a life outside of society’s expectations. I am currently working on a book on Oil Painting. I've studied with many artists in the New England area, including Stapleton Kearns and Don Demers. My work is available at different galleries and stores in Connecticut.
